I don't think there's any doubt that it's the 'right' Henry...................but that's only an opinion based on the records available online

Yes that is the 1911 census I've got

But as you say the death has his wife Violet M Metcalfe this is what I'm trying to prove it's the same person I'm hoping if I get the photos f the graves it might have an inscription that proves who they are. I've not looked for Violet's death ?

Hi
I have a Violet Marshall Metcalfe born 1895 Leads to a John Metcalfe 1870 Leeds and a Florence ?? born 1871 Victoria Australia in the 1901 census they are living in Leeds Yorkshire with son Carlyle b 1891 Australia and Eveline b 1900 Leeds
I can't find them in 1911

I think I've found them in 1939 census wondering if they went back to Australia

If they did they must have come back again as I think Violet had a child in 1914 and I think she married a Henry Hornby in 1916

trying to sort another of my Hornby ancestors out Henry was married to Alice Freer Had 2 children she died 1914, if I have the right death for Henry he died 1938 but he was married to Violet M Metcalfe had a daughter Helen 1917 , but their was another daughter Marion born 1914 registered to Violet Metcalfe

I hoping that finding the 1911 Census might help to sort it out
