Find Ancestors

I am trying to find a Nancy Elizabeth Trout (nee Elliott) after October 1935

The husband was Leslie James Trout of Topsham,Devon. He died in Oct 1935 after an accident and I cannot find anything of what happened to her after at all.

She was born in 1910 I think (possible birth for her, St Thomas, Devon) and he was born 1906 Topsham,Devon.

I don't think they had any children.
They married in 1933.
I have found the probate in 1936.

I can't see a remarriage for her, or a death as Nancy Trout - just wondered if fresh eyes might! I checked the local cemetery and she's not there with Leslie.

Hmm thanks - I couldn't remember if she would marry as Trout, or whether it would pick up on maiden name! having a blank tonight!
but didn't find that one

just another in her maiden name -a bit confusing!

But year of birth is right -thanks I'll look more into it.

DOB on death cert isn't necessarily correct - the informant may not have known the exact date.



[Nothing to do with this search - but as I was looking for a probate for her - and there isn't one - I came across probate for someone with the surname

Although now that I've searched for that name, I see there are lots of them.]

her baptism says her date of birth was the 10 march 1910

I know sometimes the year can be wrong on death registrations because people work back from age and it ends up wrong - but day is 1 day out too -how frustrating!

But the name and place are right, so that's definitely her, no matter what date it says.
