Moses cutler of Fair Island
I have done extensive research - local church records and Nfld Archives- of the cutler's of Fair Island but I cannot establish the roots of "Moses Cutler - born around 1795. Married to Elizabeth Lane of Deer Island? B. Bay." I suspect he came from England. He was a teacher at Fair Island. He married around 1825? - 3 sons and wife baptized 1830 at Fair Island. He died around 1860? No record of death or marriage found. Any help

Chris :)

Looking for moses cutler roots. suppose to be in Queen's service. Deserted and became church leader and day school teacher from 1826 to 1556. Crippled knee from beings hit by MP sword while stowed away on ship. Any info would be appreciated. Think he should be from Hampshire/Devon/Poole area.

thanks
