Middle name spelt Malvene on Australian electoral rolls- with Douglas Stanley Hinchcliffe (NSW)

Graduated University of Wollongong 1988. Still living 2003

EDIT- this may not be correct, as Marriage for Douglas S Hinchcliffe to June M Staton in 1959 UK

On the face of it it looks like her mum was single

You would have to buy the cert for it's full info

The name is very common!

You could send for the birth certificate which should give you information/confirmation on the mothers maiden name, fathers occupation and the address at the time of registration

Am trying to find the Christian names of June's parents, so I can hopefully find her ancestors. I believe they both had the surname of Evans. June eventually married a "Hinchcliffe" but this could well have been abroad, as it's believed she went to both South Africa and Malaysia, before settling in Australia by 1974.
