Surely the Spouse of George Gunn is Susannah Buckley not his mum

His dad was William Gunn

I'm finding this thread a little confusing! :-D (it doesn't take much).

The only Thomas Gunn born Inverness around 1911 that I can see is this one:

Is this the Thomas you mean? His Parents were George Gunn & Susan Buckley- they married in 1907 Elgin.

There is a possible Death for Susan in 1956 Inverness- aged 71.

Thomas Fraser Gunn married Margaret Jane Green in 1932 Inverness. He died aged 55 in 1966 Inverness

Looks like he possibly had a son (also Thomas Fraser Gunn), that died as a baby in 1933.

Wendy, if you buy credits for Scotlandspeople and look at the marriage certificate for William and Susan, you'll get the names of Susan's parents including her mother's maiden surname. You would then be able to look for her parents' marriage.

Could this be a possibility for her in 1901?

Just to confirm- the 1956 death for Susan Gunn age 71 Inverness is correct (even though age is a little out) as the death is also listed under her maiden name on Scotland's People.

Please can some kind person help me with finding the birth details for Susan Buckley born Bury Lancashire, father Charles Buckley (Fish Dealer) b1854 Ireland Mother Sarah Buckley nee Smith.
Susan Buckley Married George GUNN (Seaman) born 1876 Inverness Marriage 6th Nov 1907 Elgin Died 25/04/1956 .
Charles Buckley & Family is on 1891census Vennel Perth Scotland. Sounds complicated they must have lived in England lancashire then moved to Scotland, thats where she met George & Married.

Do you know who Susan married? There is a Susan Buckley married to George Gunn, who died in 1956 and is buried in Tomnahurich cemetery.

EDIT I see you are looking for Gunns from Inverness.

The above couple had daughter Sarah, buried 1914 and son Thomas F, buried 1965.
George was buried 1933.
