I suspect this child died, as his parents admit 5 children dead in 1911.

1911...9 Shaftesbury Road, Romford, married 30 yrs, 12 children, 5 have died.

...but what beats me is, shouldn't I be able to find a birth and death for this baby.
Or did they forget when "Charley" was born???

All the other children were born in Romford I think.

Wow, thanks folks. This might be him.

About the marriage, I too guessed at that one, as I found George the father on an earlier census with Elizabeth HOW.. (Sorry don't have record on this device)

However, his father was not James, but Edward, a shop man, ironmongery. Unless
He just didn't know, or Edward called himself James. In any case he may have died when George was young. I'm stuck with his death between 1861-1871. (Long??!)
I believe this is the marriage as Elizabeth calls herself Elizabeth Mary on 1911.

It seems his father Edward married Mary lampard first and then Amelia hurst, later in 1850s when she bore Frederick and George.
