There are numerous W H Pearce around, although this death seems to 'fit' with William Henry's birth

William Henry Pearce
Birth Date: 18 Mar 1892
Date of Registration: Sep 1972
Age at Death: 80
Registration district: Bishop Stortford
Inferred County: Hertfordshire
Volume: 4b
Page: 32

If correct, Ancestry is linking it to the marriage

William H Pearce
Date of Registration: Apr-May-Jun 1918
Registration district: Saffron Walden
Inferred County: Essex
Spouse: Nellie Law
Volume Number: 4a
Page Number: 1513
.........

TBH, It would be best to order a copy of the marriage certificate to see if he names his father as Philip.
.....

Coming back to your father - Barking & Dagenham didn't exist as registration districts in 1959.
It was either Ilford which covered part of Barking, or Romford which included part of Dagenham

There is a birth reg in each, either of which could be your father.
4Q 1958 Ilford
1Q 1959 Romford - if his birth was registered late, it would fall into the following year.

Can he tell you the names of his parents or you your paternal grandparents? We might be able to find a marriage for them and work back from there.

Although its possible that Eliza and Philip had further children after 1911, its not that likely.

Susan - if your father is a descendent, you'd have expected it to be via William Henry Pearce 1892. That's assuming he survived WW1

I am ever so slighty confused Susan.

On your other thread, you claim you are Jasmine, granddaughter of Irene and Alan.

Now you claim to be Frankie John Pearce.

Or have i got that wrong?

I don't understand your post Shirley

"Obey eface of it there's 100 years did in the birth years somut will be a bit of a trek"

:-S

You need to work back from your dad, or forward from Philip Pearce

On the face of it there's 100 years diff in the birth years so it will be a bit of a trek

Edited because my iPad did silly predictives

I need to find out if Philip Pearce from Romford born in 1859 deceased in 1934 is a relative of mine.

My father is Robert John Pearce born 7th November in roughly around 1959 is still alive born in Barking & Dagenham.

I am Frankie John Pearce.

Can you help?

Thanks.
