Thank you everyone for your help and for reminding me of information on Walter before his marriage to Caroline.
As I said, my problem is after that date.
Once again thank you.

Also,i know his sister emmergrated to Adelaide in 1912 but died shortly after arrival. Could she have gone there because Walter was there ?

Dea- I think that must be him. On the Register of injuries to workmen on Ancestry Railway Employment Record the accident is listed under W C Stark:

Name: W C Stark
Residence Date: 16 Aug 1888
Company: London, Chatham and Dover (East Kent)

There's also another injury reported 1885 (injured his arm). I don't see him listed after the 1888 accident.

Well, he was still in the London area in 1888 - this looks like him? :

Whitstable Times and Herne Bay Herald 25 August 1888:

FAVERSHAM.
FALL FROM AN ENGINE . -Between five and six o'clock last
Thursday morning a down goods train was setting back to
some break vans previously leaving the station, when the
fireman (Walter Starke of london) slipped and fell off the
engine on to the platfordm. He was much bruised and
shaken, and Dr Gange, who was summoned to attend him,
advised his removal home. Another fireman, having been
found, the goods train proceeded and Starke was sent to
London by the express.

I can find all of Walter's siblings and their children and all of Caroline's siblings etc, just not Walter or Caroline.

Kevin Report 5 Nov 2016 09:50

I've been on this for years...nothing after marriage.

I still can't find either of them on census past their marriage.

There are a couple of trees on ancestry who also have no census records on their trees.

Its a hard one peeps.....
