Find Ancestors

I am trying to find out more about a Mary Neale who was buried at St Peter's Church in Tollerton, Nottinghamshire in July 1955. She was about 85 years of age, hence born c1870. Tend to think she was unmarried and therefore Neale was her maiden name and have contacted those who hold burial record but they are unable to help further. Strong possibility she did not actually die at Tollerton, Notts.

Need to find out more about her father/mother and place of birth etc. - where do l go from here?
