There is a 1939 register for Scotland, but it's not searchable like the English one.

If you know George's date of death you can apply for an extract of an entry, at a cost of £15.

Am looking for

George Bremner Nicol and wife Christina both born 1900.

should be living at

Bridgefield, Inverbervie in Scotland

Should also be one closed record.
