I was told by another site that my gg.grandad's mum was called alice ramsdale. i don't knw he got his information from . i have got wiliam colville's marriage cert. and his father's middle name isn't clear. that is what has thrown me..alot to take in . my mum was told that one of william's relation worked for a land owner ,a member of his family was given an original painting as a wedding present and it was handed down through the family. Last seen in halifax with my grandad. my mum thought it looked awrful . Funny how life turns out . .
