As for Edith's marriage to Fred Smith in 1912. I'm not sure it is the wrong one or not just yet, but I will keep it on file for the record.

On the 1911 census it says the married Ethel M. Smith was born in Kingsbury, NOT Kingsclere.

I am looking for marriage of Ethel M Smith, b1887 Kingsclere, Hampshire, daughter of Isaac William & Charlotte Smith.

I have found a marriage of Ethel M. Smith to Fred Smith in June, 1923 in Kingsclere.

BUT.... in 1911 Census (RG14/6354 Sch. no52) there is Peter Smith, 35 & head of household, Clara, his wife, Ernest A. C. Smith, 25 b Burton - Nephew & ETHEL M. SMITH, 23 NEPHEW'S WIFE, born Kingsclere!

Also entered is Ernest E. H. Smith 3 months old - Nephew's child.

My question is this - is this the same Ethel May Smith??

I cannot find her as a single woman in 1911 - only this entry.
Which Ethel M Smith is which??

I cannot find a marriage to Ernest A. C. Smith, just the one to Fred Smith in 1912, Kingsclere, Hants!

Can anyone please help??
