it was family links I was looking for I have found a marriage to Lydia townley in portpatrick Scotland in sept 1816 . I can find nothing on his siblings or his children could this be because he was a magistrate so was protected

can anyone help me I have found my 4x great grandfather Maxwell james boyle b 1800 in cavan Ireland he was a magistrate and landowner and lived at tullyvin house .
I have found a lot of information on these but I can find no family links at all can anyone point me in the right direction please thank you
