You can't 'merge' someone elses tree with yours.

If you are absolutely sure that their research is correct, you can manually copy the info from their tree to yours.
The easiest way is to open the site and their tree in another window (not tab) and resize the windows so your tree and theirs are side-by-side. That way you can see and type at the same time.

As for the other sites - have a look around them and see if there is a link to Export a gedcom. You can then upload the received gedcom to Genes.
Beware - it will overwrite anything you've already entered and quite possibly corrupt some of the entries.

Hi ElizabethK

Thank you for your answer.

I have another question linked to Genes Reunited.

I have found common ancestors in someone else's family tree. How do I merge the family trees?

I cannot see how it would be possible unless by Gedcom ?

Geni.com and My Heritage have partnered with ftDNA and Genes Reunited is part of Find My Past - two totally different commercial companies

Hi all

I have my full family tree saved on Geni.com. Instead of typing out all the information on Genes Reunited website, I was wondering if anyone knows how to pull the information from Geni.com? I have also pulled most of the information from Geni.com into My Heritage so if anyone knows how to pull the family tree over from either of these two sites I would be grateful for the help.
