Is it possible to find additional records please? Did they go back later, stay in England or what?
Henry D Moore is a complete mystery. As Beryl is a 3rd cousin or some such, their MC is not a priority.

Thank you both. I'll have another look for the incoming PL.

Although I don't normally bother, I did contact someone who may have her in their tree. Well blow me down, she's replied! :-D

She did say that Bob (Robert Edward A Moore) recently passed away, but his two brothers remain.

The three children on the return journey in 1953 (which they presumably didn't make, as the names are scored out as DetEcTive said)
are Robert, 9; Paul, 6; and Sara, 1.5.

So was the plan for David and Dennis to stay in England? And where did Sara come from in the space of 3 months?
Mystery!

Most weird isn’t it? Even copying handwriting, its difficult trying to work out what Sara could have started out as. Perhaps Sara is/was her husband’s niece? If she is a real person, we do need to remember that she could be living.

Since posting, I’ve found obits for Beryl and her son Paul Douglas Moore in Ontario. Still nothing for Henry Douglas Moore, her husband who predeceased her. She died last year in Burlington, Ontario. Apparently he also died there.

The GR contact is going to ask her mum if she can remember dates or years.
