Is that your William who died 1844, you must know as you have details from Cert., posted above, from another 'Thread'?.

If so, then don't you think that 1858 Catherine Death is her?, same address on 1851 Census, as William Death Cert., 57 Chapel Street.

(unless you have other Death details for Catherine?)

FMP shows I have looked up McDowell, (Stoke Damerel, Plymouth) before.

There are numerous threads from Joyce re McDowell easily found by putting the name in Quick Search. I'm afraid there are enough to put me off looking to see if any in particular refer to William and Catherine. they go back to at least 2004 and come through to at least 2015
