Blast! After Jude posted, I deleted that 1939 register entry for Vera Hare / Higgs / Ship but I now think that she was indeed the V. S. Ship who emigrated to NZ with F. J. Ship in 1952. |

The 1939 Register will only show people who were known to have died before 1991. If they died after, or emigrated (therefore no record of the death in U.K) , they will not be shown. And if he was in the armed forces, then again many are not listed. |

I think they may be Frederick's son from his first marriage and his son from his second marriage. His daughter from second marriage wasn't born until 1941. |
