Not finding Richard on the 1901 sorry

Maybe he was just away from home and missed being picked up for the census

Sarah M described herself as head of house though .

NO BED IN THE HOUSE
At Castleford Police Court today, Richard Pease, miner, Glass Houghton, and his wife Sarah, were sent to prison for two months each hard labour for neglecting their four children 12, 11, 5, and 15 months, There was no bed in the house, The children slept on planks with pieces of matting as covering.
