	Born 4th March 1880 or 1881 in Co Armagh - possibly Dromintee or nearby. Parents may be Owen Ruddy and Catherine Mathews (m. 23rd June 1872 at Dromintee). Possibly known later as James or James Joseph McNally. Lived in Skipton, Yorkshire from c1906.
