Just a long shot

Trying to find the children of Charles and Kathleen Ward from Mountmellick Ireland.

My mother Julia Ward was there youngest child born in 1938 in Portarlington Ireland.

I believe her eldest sister Catherine Veronica was born in Ballinsloe, Galway around 1920 as well as Brothers Charles and Martin Ward before the family moved back to Mountmellick

I can't find a birth for Catherine Veronica, although I haven't tried the Irish genealogy sites, as I don't have subs to them.

Garry....I recall looking at the Ward family some time ago but cannot locate the thread..???

If my memory serves me well Charles jnr was the son of Charles Ward and his first wife Brid. Shea who were parents to Patrick Gerald Ward famous opera singer and Prof.of music.they lived in Lyster Lane Maryborough.....

I am assuming at some stage Charles jnr. ended up in Ballinasloe (after 1911) went on to marry Kathleen and subsequently fathered Catherine V. Charles and Martin .....

If Charles son of Charles and Kathleen was "Charles Christopher" Ward and born abt 1921 then he died 1976 and is buried St Joseph's Cemetery Mountmellick....

Garry.....This may be Kathleen Veronica's birth if it is she was born 1927 which can throw the search for a marriage out by some margin....You would need to get the Birth/Baptismal Cert to check on parents names

There was another Charles Ward and family living Ballinasloe (Tea Lane) similar Christian names and also Tinsmiths...

Yes I'm aware that there was another Charles Ward living in Ballinasloe Galway at the time. Trying to find out if he and his family are linked with my family through I suspect from my grandmother's side of her family.
