	There is tree on Ancestry which seems very well researched and has photos of Rose and Mary's daughters, Laura and Alice. POB for both Rose & Mary given as Ireland, but sources for that.

	A bit more info from Mary's marriage record : father's occupation - Stoker, Witnesses Edward & Rose Johnson. Rose's record gives father's occupation as Engine Stoker.

Member Since: November 2004 Posts: 2 Send Message	Mary was my husbands great grandmother. We have very little information regarding her. She had a sister Rose who married a Edward Johnson in Tunstall. Rose is believed to have been born in Ireland. Mary married Joseph Maddock in Tunstall and they had 2 daughters Laura and Alice. The marriage certificates show their father as Hugh Carr. Mary died at the age of 33 . Alice stayed with her father. It is not known what happened to Laura until she married briefly to Samuel Heward as she too died young leaving 2 small children. It is thought that she may have gone to Rose at some time.
