Dianna Report 11 Nov 2013 15:00

Can anyone assist me with my investigation ?.
My husbands G G Grandmother Mary Jane Cook maiden name Hayes born in Frampton Cotterll Gloucestershire around 1858. She married George Cook and bore 8 children. The family appears on the 1891 & 1901 census reports there after there is no record of her. The 1911 census only shows details of George & his youngest daughter living in Frampton Cotterell in the family home.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks, Dianna.

Hi Guys,
The details on the 1881 census is correct, his mother Mary Ann remarried after the death of her first husband. The information I have was recorded from Family Search. He attended his brother's wedding in 1888 prior to emigrating. It would appear that he was not married, therefore there would be no children.

It is a possibility that the name of the ship could have been misspelled.

Thanks for your time.
Dianna
