Trip To England On Casket Prize.

BRISBANE, September 11.
In the Bankruptcy Court to-day an inquiry was made into the affairs of J. H. O'Brien labourer, who, it was disclosed, had won £1000 in the Golden Casket in 1929. His unsecured creditors were listed at £114/17/4 and his assets at £73/3/9.
He stated that on winning the Casket prize he paid £100 for debts, and spent £400 on a trip to England with his wife and child. When he returned be had only £300 left.

You may be spelling the surname wrong that is why you have no hits.

You spell it O'Brian it's usually spelt O'Brien an e not a.
