I guess the number would be his SC ID

If you look above the 'p' on the crease of the page, there is an ink mark which could be the top end of an 'S'

I know the right hand page is not open but I just wondered if anyone with access to 1939 register would be able to give me any idea what the entry showing on the right hand side might mean about this man. . Thank you
