Thank you so much Dea, that's the site I have been looking for. I will make sure I make a note of it as really useful. Saved me a trip to Birmingham.

The Warwickshire info site is also very useful for the surrounding areas.

Again thanks for your wonderful help.

Susan

This also looks like a very useful site if you are researching in and around the Birmingham area :

http://www.warwickshireinfo.webspace.virginmedia.com/

Lots of baptisms and marriages and some Gravestones etc.

Looks like it 'could' be this one ? - It shows a box to input funeral directors so it must show them somewhere and it does in clude Yardley Cemetery, amongst others ?

I can't check as I have no-one to input.

EDIT - Yes, I do think this is the one you are after - I put in the name Smith and the records come out like this:

Online Genealogy Search

Date of Death 01/01/1800
Name James Smith
Address
Postcode

A Lot of the more recent ones have all the info filled in but I didn't like to post one of those on here as they are not connected and would have relatives still alive.

A very useful site !!

Thank you all for your time. Sadly it isn't any of these sites. I could kick myself for not making a note of it.

I will wait until I have a few to look for and make a visit to Birmingham Library. I wonder if the burials may have been online as a temporary measure while they transferred to the new building

Again thanks for your help

Thank you Andysmum. I did see this but it's not the one I previously saw. The people I found in my original search are not listed on this site.
Many thanks for taking the time to look

I am looking for burials in Yardley cemetery, the council run one, rather than the local church.
About 18 months/2 years ago I saw a site that listed all the burials and cremations at Yardley along with the grave numbers and in some cases the funeral director. I found some people and intended to look for other rellies when I had more time....well like the idiot I am......I didn't make a note of the site.

I have searched and searched but can't find the site again. Can any of you wonderful people help?

Susan
