I had discounted this as my Sarah was married to william keefe abt 1838 ish in gib.
I think I am swayed toward wH in the 5th as both his reg and my W. Keefe reg were both in inniskilin in 1835 ish, dont know and I do not know how to find out for sure and who WH was married etc., etc., etc., This is as far back in my Keefe tree as Ican get. It all seems to be at Gib or Ireland.

Valerie...You would have been better sticking to your previous thread...saves having to keep going back and forth to view info.already supplied.
Why do you think they married in Gibralter..?
They may just have easily married in Ireland prior to his posting..

So why do you discount the info that was already supplied....Bear in mind I haven't access to Ancestry etc so cannot view Chaplains returns etc.
Did you see the 2 Baptisms I posted do you recognise the names..?

Valerie

Valerie Report 14 Mar 2016 14:11

yes I did see them but do not recognise their names. My rellie is Joseph born 1838 in gibraltar no one in the churches at gib or forces or kew have any records.

I wonder if the Orren born 1838 was Joseph...It is a very rare Boys name (Hebrew in Origen) and I couldn't follow it after his Baptism Record I suppose the only way to make sure it hasn't been mistrans.is to get an original copy of the Record from the Catherdal in Gib.

Valerie Report 14 Mar 2016 14:55

ll try that but they have already told me they did not keep full records prior to 1845 ish.

Valerie .
You can order the Records on Microfilm from any local LDS you may have to pay a small fee but they do have those records including the Marriages.
