It's free for a name search, malyon, but not for an address search, which is what would be required here, because cane doesn't know the man's surname.

EDIT:
Having said that, of course I can try searching with first name and town -silly me - I'll see if the right address comes up.

EDIT again:
No, sorry, cane, no sign of him with the first name you gave me, nor with its fuller version, at that address. Either it's just a name he used, and not his official name - or else he had opted out of the ER.

You'll need to do an address search.

If you wait a few days, and then look at this site, you may be able to deduce his surname:

Thanks for PM, cane.

Unfortunately, as this would be a very recent ER entry, rather than one for an ancestor, which is what I'd thought you meant, and as it would be an address search, as you don't know his surname, it will need someone with credits on 192.com, or else a subscription to searchelectoralroll.co.uk, to look it up for you.
Or else someone living in Salford, who could look it up at a library.

I'm afraid I don't fall into any of those categories.

I see the address is a council-owned one-bedroom retirement flat.

Perhaps - it depends which ER!

What is the name of the person you want to look up, and where did they live?
And who else might they be living with?
And when?
