This gentleman is my great grandfather. He was born in 1826 in North Stoneham,Hampshire so I am led to believe. He wed Mary Ann Kinslow in 1855 and they had a number of children. I think that he could have been a seaman. Does anyone have any info on this chap and the years that he lived in Southampton. I suspect that the birth of his first child was not registered as I cannot find a record. Also the death of his second child Rose Anna was recorded but it would appear that she died as an infant and I am unable to find this death recorded. This family moved up to Cheshire after William had an accident and he worked for the ferries that plied the Mersey. Any info would be great. Thanks Dorothy |
