Hi can you help me find my husband mum winifred batley sharpe born 1924 leeds married in leeds to james sharpe but split up not seen her since 1960's she was Divorced from husband .Don't know if she as died or married again thank you

Looking at Winifred's birth on freebmd mmn Walls, there are a number of siblings, worth tracing them forward to see if any children of marriages may know of their aunt?

Her mother's death., father died 1946 so wonder who registered it. I know it's a long time ago but if Winifred changed her name and registered the death, it might help find her.

Winifred's file is not open on the 1939 register but I can make out the top of the name Sharpe above the blocked section.

I can't find a death in either name up to 2013, I have also just put in Winifred and September 1924, there are several but without the birth date I can't say it's her. The problem is if she's still alive you can't put her birth date on here, if it's known.

I think the death cert of mother may hold the info required.
