Thanks for that Shirley. That's what I did. But when anyone reads my tree they don't read the notes. They take it as seen on the tree. |

You could put her as a child of her uncle/aunt and include niece in brackets as though it were part of her surname. A bit odd, but it might solve the problem of people who don't read notes!! :-) |

I disagree with Andysmum, she is the daughter of her birth parents no matter who she is living with and should be listed as such on the family tree. |
