Was taking a looks for Frederick and came across this:-

Frederick (Muriel) Porritt 08 Mar 1911 Male Painter & Cabinet Maker Single 13 4

George Porritt 19 Apr 1888 Male Aircraft Builder Married 13 1
Alice Mary Porritt 06 Mar 1887 Female Domestic Household Duties Unpaid Married 13 2
John William Porritt 15 Jan 1910 Male Aircraft Builder Single 13 3
Muriel Sails (Perritt) 20 Apr 1918 Female Assisting Household Duties Single 13 5

...............such a coincidence I thought I'd post it. (Same name and exact date of birth)

Just shows how carefull you have to be when researching even names that are a little unusual.

Thanks very much Gins. Quite a lot of years ago I was going to send for his army records but at the time I thought it was quite pricey and a very long waiting period. Still can't afford it now, with other priorities ahead of him.
