Jane Roberts married George Woodcock 19 Feb 1899.
According to the marriage cert she was age 19 (b1880) and her father Alfred Roberts was a Bootmaker. One of the witnesses was a John Roberts, probably a brother?

The 1911 census says Jane was born 1880 and that she was born in Marylebone.

With all that info I thought no problem in tracing the family back. Ha!! How wrong I was. Am I missing the obvious somewhere?

Although the father is recorded as Allen the location and date fits for the birth of Jane and she also has a brother John, also father is recorded as Boot Finisher
