Thank you every one for you input about the Able /Abell family , it seems like the death date was for the daughter Mary Ann ( 1850 ) as I had a look at the 1861 census the mother Mary was 35 years old no younger Mary ,seems like they had another daughter in 1867 and named her Mary Ann, who married twice ,she died in 1937 in America

Trees on ancestry also have Mary Langton marrying John THOMAS Abell/Able

You say she married John William?

Malyon's suggestion that the death is for a daughter should be considered. If she was a child - or even if it was the mother - the DC would name her father or husband.

There are many trees on Ancestry, probably copied from each other, that have Mary Langton dying in 1852 but having children up until 1867.

looks like it could be the daughter mary ann that died in 1852 as she is not on the 1861 census and the mother is just mary not mary ann

There seems to be a confusion with spelling. there is also a different family using Abell.

Might this be Hannah's birth? The cert should give her mmn. Its possible that if JW and Mary were married, she used the surname of her first husband, if there was one. Don't forget that more people 'lived in sin' than we imagine.

Trying to sort out my F T ,
John William Able 1827- 1871, married Mary Langton 1831-1852 in May 1847, they had a son James William Able in June 1847 ,followed by Mary Ann Able 1850 ,now Mary Langton Able died in 1852 , maybe I'm doing something wrong or she didn't die then,as according to my research, and others Mary had a further 7 children between 1853-1867, did John marry again, or was 1852 transcribed wrong, ??
