In 1911 all the odd numbers are listed- Emma Marriott lives at number 7. The even numbers don't follow on from the odd though :(

On the image of the 1939 Register, Hilda's birth is given as 2 Oct 1912.

Perhaps using a Street/Trade directory of certain years may help in this quest.

Thanks MargaretM,
I didn't think it did, but as there are no house numbers noted, I thought, in this case, the house number may have followed the schedule number.
Sorry Sarah, not sure if you are going to find out who lived in number 26. Will check out another site but having trouble with my internet connection so it's all a bit slow today.

Thanks for looking anyway, I really appreciate it.

I just have to add that the schedule number of 26 has nothing to do with the house number.

Hi, I am looking to find who the occupants were at 26 Mount Pleasant Road, Castle Gresley, Derbyshire. The house was built in 1894 and I would love to find out about anyone who has lived there. I assume mining will feature strongly in that area. If someone could offer any information I would be very interested... and grateful!

Thanks in advance :-)
