Find Ancestors

Fred died in the Peterborough area in April 2004 but I can't find a birth for him. He may be my sons' uncle so we are interested in finding out if he was buried or cremated or indeed, anything about him.
I have sent for his death cert. which will help a bit but if there is anyone out there in and around Peterborough who may have any other info. I would be very grateful.

Have you tried looking for his parents and siblings?

Many thanks to all - Wynford is a different person who seems to have died on the same day as Fred. I can find a birth for Wynford but not for Fred, of course it is just possible that they are one and the same person. I'm hoping the birth certificate will clarify.
My deceased husband lost touch as family's often do these days with divorce etc.

The death records have identical references - Wynford and Fred are the same person. Or is a very very big coincidence.

For info: Peterborough Register Office are going to check if this is one and the same person. Wynford to Fred just seems a stretch.

With the same birth and death dates? I think that is stretching coincidence more than Wynford to Fred really :-) Do please let us know when you hear back from the register office.

Yes it just seems too good to be true! Shame it would have solved my problem if Fred had been a different person. I await a call from the register office.
