There have been nine posts to date so I will take some time to check these against my own records.
There is some confusion in this family by the use of Weldon as a Christian name. This comes down from an ancestor John Weldon 1676 - 1736 who was an recognised organist and composer.
Many families have used the Christian name. e.g. There is another Weldon Champness born between 1800 and 1810

Most of these trees have death for William Champneys/Champness as 11 Nov 1835, Fitzroy Square, London, Middlesex, but I cannot see the proof for that.


William Belton Champneys/Champness was the son of Weldon Champneys
and Frances Porter

Weldon Champneys was apparently born Apr 1736 St. Margaret's Westminster, Middlesex. Frances Porter was his second wife, if the trees are to be believed.

I am trying to find the death of William Champness. He married Mary Hasley in 1798 at St Pancras Church London. They had a son Weldon Champness in 1807.
