I've had a quick look for Alice, but nothing coming up.

In 1881 census there is a step-son noted (James Deniord)

As this seems to be Caroline in 1871, stated as married but no marriage showing so I think it is more likey that James was the illegitimate son of Wiliam Deniord:-

I have been unable to find Caroline Deniord or Denoa with William and sons William (age 4) and James (age 7 months) on the 1871 census in Bethnal Green, London. Can anyone help. I would particularly want to know the address they lived at. thank you.
