I have tried without success to find the birth of Nehemiah Blacker 1892/1893. I have traced six of his siblings born between 1878 and 1896 and their places of birth are given as Mountain Ash, Aberdare and Penrhiwceiber in Glamorganshire, Wales. Their parents are Thomas (1860) and Ruth Blacker (1857) who marred in Glamorganshire in 1877.

I eventually found a birth for a Jesse Rehemiah in 1893 but I cannot find a christening record though to add weight to my theory.

What do others think? Can anyone else find a christening?

There is a Baptism on Find my Past in Mountain Ash, Glamoragan, but I don't have a sub to check the record

are you sure Nehemiah was not born jesse as jesse is not in the 1901 census and they both have same birth date 1893

Sorry tried to reply earlier and the site kept saying error. Thank you for finding him it explains why I couldn't as he was known by his middle name by his family.

The siblings I confirmed are Henry 1878, Parfitt 1879, Elijah 1883, Thomas John 1885, Mercy 1887 and Phoebe Jane 1896.
