HI i'm trying to find the children of James Butler b1870-1859 gainsborough lincolnshire and his wife Sarah Asplin b1785-1867 lincolnshire. They married 1805 Hackthorn lincolnshire. the first child i can find for this marriage is 1812 ??? there must be some prior to this?

I would think that Hannah was on the outside limit for being a child of Sarah, and the other two, Anne and George, were grandchildren?


if that is them, at least we do know that Hannah survived to 1841 :-)

do you know that James did in fact, and if so is there a census record?

if that is your family ... and I should wait for confirmation ...

and if you don't know the parents of young Anne and George it might be worth finding out in case one of the two missing persons were their parent
