My great grandfather was born in Durham and married Sarah Appleton in Bradfield Berkshire in 1869.The marriage certificate gives his name as John Chalders Langstaff.Father John Longstaff/Langstaff.
My great grandfather moved to sussex and in all the subsequent census is listed as John Charles Longstaff.
My research has stopped here and I cannot get further back from My Great grandfather.Can anyone help.
