A lot of the population of Northumberland at that time were non-conformist.

The non-conformist records are separate from the parish records but the Northumberland County Records office at Ashington have a lot of the non-conformist records transcribed so they are quite easy to search through if you have an appriximate date.

The staff are very good and would probably check for you if you asked (although it is some years since I did any research up there so things might have changed).

Anick and Alnwick are two different places some miles apart, but that wouldn't preclude a marriage in Anick.

The marriage found by Malyon at Lee St John would cover the area you are interested in

Looking at a map of the area around Anick, it is close to Hexham, Corbridge, Acomb, and Wall - all of which if you Google would appear to have churches but not necessarily at the time you are interested in. There may be more.

It might be best for you to contact local Archives and enquire with them what churches they hold records for at that time. They would be able to tell you what churches there were in that area
