What is an Internment Certificate?

Thank you so much Kay for the information, it has been very helpful. I have since been advised that the certificate only relate to Baby Glew, so her name may well have not been registered as you have said. |

Its an offcial form submitted by the funeral director to the cemetery that an interment of ashes are to take place and not scattered,or that a burial is to take,,,families usually dont deal with this as its taken care of as part of the service of the funeral directors. |

I have been trying to find Janet Glew born and died 5th May 1958 but cannot find any birth or death information - I have been advised there was an Internment Certificate but I don't know what this is. Any help would be appreciated |
