I know it's still not 1881 census, but if Ada married in Gloucestershire then maybe they were all there in 1881?

EDIT:- Not her, see below.

Malyon, I saw that 1881 but the Mary Ann on there is noted as being Daughter aged 25yrs, so she can't be the mother of Ada who is 15yrs old.

This is the Ada from the 1881:-

Name: Ada Robins
Age: 5
Estimated birth year: abt 1866
Relation: Daughter
Father's name: Charles Robins
Mother's name: Charlotte Robins
Gender: Female
Where born: Clifton; Bristol
Civil Parish: Clifton
Ecclesiastical parish: Holy Trinity
County/Island: Gloucestershire
Country: England
Registration district: Clifton
Sub-registration district: Clifton
ED, institution, or vessel: 8
Household schedule number: 45

George C Robins 17
Mary A Robins 15
Clara Robins 13
Henry Robins 9
Charlotte Robins 7
Ada Robins 5
Charles Robins 3
Susan Robins 1
John Robins 3 Months

..................and our Ada is with her parents in 1871 so this is a different one, just happens to be born at the same time and place.

While I've been looking at above I came across this which prooves that the Ada from the 1881 census is the Ada that married James Neville, so not the Ada we are looking for:-

Gender: Female
Marital Status: Single
Marriage Date: 30 Nov 1889
Marriage Place: Clifton, St Andrew, Gloucestershire, England
Father: Charles Robins
Spouse: James Neville

ArgyllGran

Thank you for taking the time to post Arthur in the 1901 census. I came across that one too. A bit iffy though don't you think, considering there a 6 year age difference?

Catherine, yes you are right. The Ada Robins who married James Neville is indeed a different Ada. I got quite excited when I first came across that marriage.

Thank you very much for taking the time and effort for looking for me. I really do appreciate it.

Goodness knows where they all are in 1881!

Well, they don't appear to be at 1 Broad Hinton Road in 1881, the address given for them both on their Married Cert in 1877
