I am looking for the Mother of Mary Corbett. I have Mary's marriage certificate to Richard Perks 1846 in Stourbridge Worcestershire, so I know her father is George,so am looking for any further family members Thank you in advance for any help you are able to give

Does the marriage cert give George's occupation?

On the 1841 census posted........His occupation is a Sadler.

He is a Sadler in 1851 too.

Gosh, I am in and out of this site like a fiddlers elbow today......soooo annoying! :-|

So perhaps George's first wife Mary died and he remarried Maria in 1846.

There are 3 deaths in Stourbridge for a Mary Corbett between 1841 and 1846.

I think I might have to give up trying to keep getting back on to this site today........it's driving me mad!!

Before I go, I will post some info regarding the Ginby/Cornaby connection in case it is of interest to you.

On the 1871 census, Maria Corbett (A widow) is with William and Anna Maria Lowe. It states she is a "Daughter" but that has been crossed out on the image.

Thank you Prickly Holly, as these children are not on the 1841 census did the die in infancy? I have been searching myself and believe I have found a marriage between George Corbett and Mary Law in 1821

Can't see any record of those children's deaths before 1841 in Old Swinford specifically, but of course church records tend to be patchy.
Can't see them in any censuses.

There are a couple of Jameses who are pupils at schools in 1841, but no way of knowing if either of them could be the James christened in 1829 or not - one born c1830 in Worcestershire, the other born c1831, but it says not born in county.

One slight possibility:
