So - 2 of those children were born after their divorce but if she was still using her married name and had not remarried, any children born to her would be registered under that surname and that same mother's maiden name, (even though they were not the children of 'Mr Willers'), unless the actual father went along with her to register them and agreed to register them also in 'his' name.

EDIT - having looked further at the registrations it seems that the 'father' did go along with her and the children are also registered in the name of 'Felkin' !!!

Hi Jim - where did this happen?

Reginald is recorded as marrying Vera Bessie Paling in 1922 with 5 children born between 1923 and 1940, all showing mother's maiden name as Paling or variants)
He also married Phyllis Nellie Duncan in 1935 who is recorded as his widow in 1947 probate.
No trace of first wife after 1931.
Could registration of births have wrong mother's name?
Where did Vera go?
