Just to clarify there is another James Callan born 1911 in the area. However he shows on the census as being son of James Callan & Dorothy. So not our James, but another relative to add to tree, as this is his father is my great uncle |

I heard back from Find my Past. I am not sure if it was an automated message. Just said can't release under 100 years. Again I pointed out the two I was looking for dobs 1909 and 1911. See what happens. |

Mystery solved. Its an admin error somewhere. BMD list on here shows the wrong birth year. Got a death certificate for James who died in the right area in 1913 and its is our family.He died aged 20 months of TB. Address matches family's at time and father's name. I :-( Thanks for all the help |
