Find Ancestors

Hi I am looking for any info/help on finding my ancestor Edward Driscoll he was born around 1847 in Cork Ireland, he had 4 sons and 7 daughters with Mary Ann Haggerty his eldest Son (my great grandfather) was born in London in 1869, not sure when he moved to England and unable to find records of his marriage so must of married in Ireland. If anyone has any info of his parentage brothers/sisters that would be great thank you

People did this because they could'nt get releif if they were born in a different place and he may have been asking where he was from and said Shoreditch as thats where he lived before?

Several trees on Ancestry have Edward & Mary as marrying 1869 possibly in Kent (no sources); they also have attached an 1871 census to him but that Edward is unmarried, a labourer. So, unless he changed his occupation and Edward & Ellen weren't his children, it can't be him.

I cannot find Edward jnr or Ellen on the 1871 or their birth regs.

Leigh, do you have Edward's birth cert?

I personally don't have the cert its definitely the right family I was more interested in Edward before he came over and what his ancestry is but because of the timing the family came over because of the potato famine and unless I go to Ireland to look at the parish records I'm at a loss I have found out that the family were Roman Catholics thought it would be a long shot someone on here might have more info
