AustinQ - the Henry you mentioned in the 1911 census (DOB 1851) age 60 is my gt grandfather. It's his son I am looking for in the 1911 census (DOB 1885) single and very likely Bethnal Green / St Pancras.
Thanks for your help

The 1911 posted above is not your man, he's married to a 'Rose'

Your Henry's occupation on the marriage is a 'Carman'

My grandad, Henry Taylor, married Sarah Fitzgerald 8/12/1912 and I have the original certificate. It states the grooms father is Henry Taylor, deceased, occupation Hackney carriage driver. Address was 3 Princes Court. The family have all gone now so no one to ask unfortunately but I do believe they all came from the east end of London.

Can you give ALL the details from the marriage certificate please. And still need to know how you got back to Henry and Eliza in 1881 as that census has Henry as a General Dealer

Surname First name(s) Spouse District Vol Page

I think you might need to expand a little:

Do you know where he was born?

Parents?

I'm looking for Henry Taylor in the 1911 census with no luck. He was born 13 September 1885 and married in 1912 so was single in 1911. Can anyone advise where he might have been?
Thanks
