Find Ancestors

The above lady lived in the same house as my uncle and as he was called Bass, all her records show Lilian M Bass. The 1939 record shows the correct name but all subsequent electoral registers have her as Bass. I can't find a marriage. Any advice please? :-)

I can see that it says only 3 residents at the address in 1939 and there does not seem to be any blacked out. Thanks for all your help

He's living with a Lilian 'Marion' Bass, not 'Mabel'. I'm guessing the death in 1958 is your girl and never married?
