Patrick Dunne born c 1856 in Manchester to Michael and Letitia Dunne who originated Queens Co Ireland. Pat married Mary Anne Dwyer and their daughter Mary Letitia was born 1880. Cant find then after 1881 census when they were living with his wife's family on Lamb Lane. Does anyone else have these people in their tree please? Thank you!

Eunice - the way to find GR members interested in the same family is to search the names you know in 'Search all members Trees' - top right under search. Send a personalised message to any tree owner who may be listed.

Yes - saw that one and ruled it out. Assuming they were still in the UK, their name must be terribly mangled.

Eunice - did Mary Letitia marry? May be rather late in the day but ???

Thank you all. I know nothing about them other than as stated. I DID wonder about emigration as it was common, but as always with these Lancashire born - of - Irish parents, they all have same or similar names!!!!! The Dunnes originated from Queens County ( now Laoish) and the Dwyers hailed from Johnswell, co Kilkenny. I had not seen the
? Marriage of M L so may need to bite the bullet and just order the very, although there maybe Banns, as this side of my Irish roots were RC. Thank you everyone for help so far.

Although compulsary birth registration wasn't enforced until 1873, there is a birth reg for 'a' Patrick Dunne. Whether it is him or not is a different matter!
